This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Sous le Grand Charnier on the Chemin du Gay au Clot. With a total distance of 11.165 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1055 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
Starting from the parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail, you will find drinking water available to fill up your bottles before embarking on the journey. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across two water sources around 5.58 kilometers into the hike, providing a perfect opportunity to rest and hydrate.
About 4.38 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Chalet de Rif Premier wilderness hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Continuing on, at the same distance point, you will also encounter a refreshing spring to replenish your water supply.
