Welcome to the hiking route to Schutzhaus Hochgang - Rifugio Casa del Valico! This circular trail offers spectacular views and a variety of points of interest along the way.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey at an elevation of 1354 meters. From here, you will follow the well-marked path as it winds its way through the alpine landscape.

Approximately 2 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Schutzhaus Hochgang - Rifugio Casa del Valico, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy a meal or refreshments. Please note that the hut is open from June to October.

As you continue along the trail, you may come across a wayside shrine and several information points that provide insight into the local history and wildlife. Be sure to stop and take in these cultural highlights along the way.

At around the halfway point of the hike, you will find a drinking water station where you can refill your water bottle and stay hydrated.

The route covers a distance of 5.75 kilometers with an elevation gain of 516 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is recommended to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
