This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area, leading to the majestic peak of Pizzo dell'Aquila. The trail is 4.4 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 445 meters, making it a moderately challenging hike.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by a parking area, and shortly after, you will come across a drinking water station where you can refill your water bottles. Continuing on, you will reach Foce dei Lizzari, a scenic saddle point, around 1.89 kilometers from the start.

Further along the trail, at approximately 2.2 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Pizzo dell'Aquila, a prominent peak offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, you can also explore Punta Nattapiana, another peak with stunning views.
