This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Frenkstraße in Hürtgenwald. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 13.372 kilometers with an elevation gain of 177 meters, making it extremely difficult and challenging. It is recommended for experienced hikers due to its length and elevation.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. As you progress, you will encounter several water sources, benches for resting, and informative signs providing insights into the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you will find a shelter named "Five Points" where you can take a break and refuel. Further along the trail, there is another shelter called "Bieber Watch" where you can stop and enjoy the serene surroundings.
