Additionally, at 1.64 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area. Don't forget to visit the wayside shrine at 0.94 kilometers and the wayside cross at 1.24 kilometers for a touch of history along the trail.

If you're feeling hungry, a BBQ area awaits you at 1.99 kilometers in, where you can take a break and enjoy a meal in nature. A shelter is also available around 2.18 kilometers into the hike for any unforeseen weather changes.

For those interested in natural landmarks, the Naturpark Rhein-Westerwald information point at 1.99 kilometers is a must-visit. You can also find water sources at various points along the trail to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated.
