This extremely difficult 15.895-kilometer circular hiking route in Camí de Montnegre - Camí de Montnegre - Cruïlles, Monells i Sant Sadurní de l'Heura offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the route. About 7.27 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a water source followed by another one at 7.09 kilometers. It is advisable to refill your water bottles at these points as the trail progresses. Keep in mind that the second water source is slightly off the trail, so be prepared for a short detour if needed.
As you continue along the path, at around 6.14 kilometers, you will encounter the Font de l'Alzina spring providing a picturesque spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, at 0.14 kilometers from the starting point, you will find the el Roura Blanch restaurant, which could be a great place to stop for a meal before or after the hike. Another restaurant, Fonda Pepa Maca, is located at the same distance but slightly off the trail.
