This challenging hiking route takes you through the stunning landscape surrounding Sasso Bianco. The trail spans a distance of 10.374 kilometers with an elevation gain of 970 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding journey.
Starting off at the parking area near the trailhead, you'll embark on your adventure into the wilderness. Along the way, you'll come across various points of interest that add to the allure of the hike. About 3.06 kilometers into the hike, you'll find Tabiai Giardogn, a shelter where you can take a break and soak in the surrounding nature.
As you continue your ascent, you'll encounter Sasso Bianco, a peak situated about 5.19 kilometers from the starting point. The panoramic views from this vantage point are truly breathtaking and well worth the effort it took to reach here.
For those in need of sustenance, there are drinking water stations located at different intervals along the trail, such as at 0.37 and 2.73 kilometers from the start. Additionally, you'll come across informative signposts that offer insights into the local flora, fauna, and history of the area.
As you push forward, you'll pass by Cima de Pian and Sasso Nero, two more peaks that provide a sense of accomplishment and awe at nature's grandeur. However, keep in mind that Col Toront, another peak, is not directly on the trail and requires a slight detour.
