Welcome to the Via dei Mughetti hiking route! Located in a beautiful natural area, this trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle securely before setting off. Approximately 1.46 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by a water source, providing a perfect opportunity to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated.
Continuing on, at around 1.73 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another water source along the trail. Take a moment to appreciate the natural surroundings and maybe even take a short break to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
After a few more kilometers of trekking, at 3.17 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint known as Colle Frascà. This is a great spot to pause and take in the panoramic views of the area.
Around 0.72 kilometers further along the trail, you will spot a historic wayside cross, adding cultural significance to your hike. As you approach the 2.48-kilometer mark, a spring awaits you, offering a refreshing break before continuing your journey.
Towards the end of the trail, at 2.9 kilometers from the start, you will find another spring, providing a last chance to rest and rehydrate before heading back.
This out-and-back route spans a total distance of 7.788 kilometers with an elevation gain of 357.0 meters, making it a difficult challenge for hikers. Be sure to pack plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
