This easy 2.733-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a leisurely hike with no significant elevation gain, perfect for beginners or those looking for a relaxing walk in nature.

The trail starts at Morehead Road and meanders alongside the North Pine River, providing picturesque views of the water. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest:

- At the beginning of the trail, you will find North Pine River, a serene spot to relax and maybe even dip your feet in the water.

- Midway through the hike, there are shelters where you can take a break and have a picnic while enjoying the surrounding wilderness.

- Close to the endpoint of the trail, you will find Old Petrie Town, a historical attraction that offers a glimpse into the past with its preserved buildings and artifacts.
