This hiking route takes you through the stunning Monte Cornetto area, offering breathtaking views and a challenging yet rewarding experience. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a total distance of 7.734 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1021 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.
As you start your journey, you will come across Sant'Antonio di Zerenton, a historic wayside shrine located just 0.17 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This shrine is a perfect place to take a moment to admire the surroundings and capture some pictures.
Continuing along the trail, you will reach Bivacco Zanette, a wilderness hut situated 2.85 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before heading towards the peak of Monte Cornetto.
At the peak, which is 3.87 kilometers into the hike, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take the time to soak in the beauty of your surroundings before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
