This moderate hiking route spans 5.866 kilometers in a beautiful area with no elevation gain. The trail starts at the Auen-Wildnispfad information point, where you can learn about the local flora and fauna before heading out. Along the route, you will come across several points of interest.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking facilities and an information pavilion. As you continue, you will reach a viewpoint platform where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. About 2.93 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source for refilling your bottles.

Near the midpoint of the trail, there are two restaurants, "The GRILL am Rhein" and "Miko," where you can stop for a meal or a snack. Remember to carry enough water and snacks for the entire hike, as there are no more water sources along the trail.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back. Before embarking on this hike, make sure to check the weather forecast and wear appropriate footwear. Enjoy your hike in this picturesque area!
