This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an adventure through the beautiful Monte Acuto area. The trail spans a distance of 41.801 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 2384.0 meters, making it a challenging yet rewarding journey.
As you start your hike, you'll come across the Dellacher Alm biergarten, located just 0.41 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to grab a refreshing drink before continuing on your way. Along the trail, you'll also encounter the Lärchriegel Sattel saddle at 11.45 kilometers, followed by the Scharte beim Kalten Brunnen saddle at 6.24 kilometers.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach the Schönwipfel peak at 6.88 kilometers, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you make your way towards the summit, don't forget to stop by the Rauna-Sattel saddle at 10.88 kilometers for a quick break.
For those in need of a refill, there are drinking water stations located at various points along the trail, such as at 0.36 kilometers and 0.24 kilometers from the start. Additionally, parking facilities are available at the beginning of the trail, ensuring a convenient starting point for your adventure.
As you approach the end of the route, you'll reach the Monte Acuto peak at 20.9 kilometers, marking a significant milestone in your journey. Be sure to check out the Kok Sattel saddle at 7.39 kilometers before heading back on the out-and-back trail.
