Welcome to the Blitzleweg hiking route!

Located in a scenic area, this easy out-and-back trail spans approximately 4.3 kilometers with no significant elevation gain. Perfect for hikers of all levels, this route offers a leisurely experience surrounded by nature.

As you start your journey, you'll come across convenient parking areas at the beginning and midway through the trail. Be sure to bring enough water for your hike as there are benches along the way where you can take breaks and enjoy the surroundings.

Around the 2.17-kilometer mark, you'll find a water feature that adds to the serene atmosphere of the trail. Further along, at approximately 0.98 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter a historic wayside cross.

For history enthusiasts, there are several points of interest to explore, including a wayside shrine named "Bildstock Wild" and a memorial called "Gedenkkreuz Bildstein" at 1.26 kilometers.

During your adventure, take a moment to appreciate the viewpoints along the trail, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, an information point at 1.74 kilometers provides insights into the area's historical significance.

As you venture back, a fort named "Schanze" at 1.74 kilometers adds to the historical charm of the route. Finally, you'll make your way back to the starting point, passing by the parking area once again.
