Welcome to the Blitzleweg hiking route!

The Blitzleweg trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. This out-and-back route has a total distance of 4.331 kilometers and is classified as easy in terms of difficulty, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across some points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. Further along, about 2.17 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a water feature, perfect for taking a rest and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by historic landmarks such as wayside crosses and shrines. These points of interest add a cultural element to your hike and provide great photo opportunities. Additionally, there are benches and memorials scattered throughout the trail, offering hikers a place to rest and reflect.

Midway through the hike, at around 1.29 kilometers into the trail, you will find a natural spring where you can refill your water bottle. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the fresh mountain water.

Towards the end of the trail, at approximately 1.74 kilometers in, you will reach a viewpoint and an information point known as "Auf der Schanze". Here, you can learn more about the history of the area and admire the panoramic views.
