Welcome to the Echternberg hiking route, a picturesque trail that offers a relaxing outdoor experience. The trail is 2.136 kilometers long with no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all levels of hikers.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a historic boundary stone marking the start of the trail. Approximately 0.19 kilometers into the hike, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the adventure.

About 0.62 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Schwandberg peak, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the path, at around 1.07 kilometers, there are several natural water sources where you can replenish your supplies and take a moment to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Along the route, you will find benches scattered at various points for resting and taking in the scenery. A cafe, the Landhaus Pension Café Blumengarten, is also located nearby for those looking to grab a refreshment.
