This hiking route will take you through the scenic area surrounding Crucea din Carpați. The trail is 7.958 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 894 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 4 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will pass by the refreshing Izvorul Viu spring located 1.8 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. A little further at 1.81 kilometers, you will find a lovely picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

As you continue onwards, at 2.57 kilometers into the hike, you will come across an information point providing insights into the area's history and natural features. Midway through the trail, at 3.98 kilometers, you will reach the iconic Crucea din Carpați viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the landscape.

Along the way, you will encounter Fântâna lui Botorog spring at 0.03 kilometers, and a parking area at the same distance, where you can leave your vehicle before setting off on the hike. Additionally, there are drinking water facilities available near the Fântâna lui Botorog spring.
