This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Karigailos kalnas, offering stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of approximately 1.2 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before beginning the hike. About a quarter of the way into the trail, you will reach the Trijų kryžių apžvalgos aikštelė viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, you'll find the Trys kryžiai memorial and attraction, adding a cultural and historical element to your hike.
Continuing onward, you'll pass by Plikasis (Kreivasis) kalnas and Stalo kalnas, both archaeological sites with natural peaks that provide a unique experience for hikers. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the Bekešo kalnas peak and the Stalo kalno regykla viewpoint, which offer breathtaking vistas of the area.
Midway through the hike, you'll find a picnic site and the Kasparo Bekešo atminimui artwork, perfect for a rest stop and a chance to admire local art. If you need a break, there are benches along the trail where you can sit and relax, and a cafe called Druska Miltai Vanduo nearby for refreshments.
As you reach the end of the trail, you will encounter the Karigailos kalnas peak, providing a picturesque finale to your hike with sweeping views of the surroundings.
