This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 13.195-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1849 meters, lasting approximately 7 hours and 40 minutes.

The trail begins at the parking area, located right at the start of the route. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as this challenging hike will take you through some rugged terrain.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Lapenscharte saddle at around 4.77 kilometers from the start. This will be a great spot to take a break and admire the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Continuing on, you will reach the Grüne-Wand-Hütte restaurant at the beginning of the trail, where you can refuel and recharge before tackling the rest of the hike. Further along the route, at around 6.6 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Gigalitz peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views as a rewarding end point for your journey.

Along the way, you may also come across an information point at approximately 0.34 kilometers from the start, providing interesting insights about the area.
