This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route to Glacier - Tunnel 3000 takes you through a stunning area with a total distance of 15.985 kilometers and an elevation gain of 959 meters.
Starting at P6 Parking du Laisinant, you will begin your journey towards the glacier. As you make your way, you will pass by Les Richardes campsite, just 0.05 kilometers from the start, providing a nice spot to rest early on in the hike.
Around the 3.54 kilometers mark, you will find L'Ouillette restaurant, a great spot to grab a meal before continuing your trek. Further along the trail, at the 4.06 kilometers mark, you will come across a cafe named L'Ouillette, offering a quick refreshment stop.
As you approach the 7.35 kilometers mark, you will find a natural water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles and staying hydrated during the challenging hike. Another water source can be found at the 7.99 kilometers mark, ensuring you have access to freshwater along the way.
