Starting from the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, hikers will first pass by a scenic water area only 1.07 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take in the peaceful surroundings and maybe even have a quick rest on one of the benches located nearby at 0.04, 0.86, and 0.99 kilometers into the hike.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across another bench at 0.3 kilometers, providing a nice place to relax and enjoy the views. It is important to note that bringing an adequate supply of water is recommended, especially on warmer days, as there are limited facilities along the trail.

The Höhenweg route is an out-and-back trail, so you will retrace your steps back to the starting point after reaching the end.
