This challenging hiking route takes you through the picturesque area near Schusterkopf. The trail spans a distance of 10.83 kilometers with an elevation gain of 871 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

At the beginning of the trail, you'll pass by the Biberalm restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat before starting your journey. As you continue on, you'll come across several natural water sources, perfect for refilling your water bottle. Around the 3.5 kilometer mark, you'll find the Schmaranzhütte alpine hut, offering a cozy place to rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

Midway through the hike, you'll encounter the peaks of Gamskogel, Hundskopf, and Schusterkopf, providing stunning panoramic views of the area. Be sure to stop at the information points along the way to learn more about the local flora, fauna, and history of the region.

As you approach the end of the trail, you'll pass by the Schmugglerscharte saddle, a unique geological feature worth exploring. Finally, you'll return to the starting point where you began your journey near the Parkplatz Biberalm.
