Welcome to the Käppeli hiking route! This easy out-and-back trail spans approximately 2.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 226 meters, making it perfect for hikers of all skill levels.

Located in a picturesque area, the trail starts at a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your hike. Along the way, you'll come across various points of interest that will enhance your hiking experience.

Approximately 0.8 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Bannwald area, a tranquil spot surrounded by nature. Continuing on, at around 1.5 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Burgkapelle, a charming chapel nestled along the trail.

As you make your way towards the turnaround point, you'll pass by the Bergrestaurant Käppeli, where you can take a break and enjoy a meal with a view. Just a short distance from the restaurant, you'll find the Käppeli viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic vistas of the surroundings.
