This hiking route is located in the beautiful area of Eichgasse in Hürtgenwald. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 1.131 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it super easy for hikers of all levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area just 0.17 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a convenient spot to leave your car before embarking on the journey. Continuing on, at the midway point of the trail (0.49 kilometers from the start), you will find three water sources along the way. Be sure to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during your hike.

One interesting point of interest along the route is the Ehrenmal memorial, located 0.49 kilometers from the start of the trail. This historic site is worth a visit, although it is slightly off the main trail, so you may need to take a short detour to see it.
