This hiking route takes you through the picturesque Yarrow Valley Country Park, offering stunning views of nature along the way. The trail is super easy, with a distance of approximately 1.256 kilometers and no significant elevation gain.
As you begin your journey, you will come across the TreeFace Cafe, where you can grab a quick snack before heading further into the park. About 0.34 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Birkacre parking area, where you can leave your vehicle if you drove to the trailhead.
Continuing on, you will pass by the Small Lodge, a serene spot perfect for a break or a picnic. Further along the trail at around 0.63 kilometers, you will reach the Big Lodge, a beautiful water feature that adds to the tranquility of the surroundings.
As you make your way back, you can stop by the Jonathan Holland memorial, located approximately 0.55 kilometers from the start. This memorial offers a moment of reflection before you reach the starting point of the hike.
