This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Rotsohlalm, starting at an elevation of 1158 meters and reaching a destination elevation of 1407 meters. The total distance of the hike is 7.164 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 256 meters.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. Close to the starting point, you will find the Alpengasthof Scheikl, a restaurant where you can grab a meal before or after your hike. As you continue on, you will also come across the Schalleralm alpine hut, offering a cozy retreat for hikers.

Further along the route, approximately 3 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Rotsohlalm, another alpine hut that is open from June to September. This is the designated destination of the hike, where you can rest and enjoy the stunning surroundings before making your way back.

Along the way, you will also encounter points of interest such as the Nikolokreuz wayside shrine and various information points providing insight into the area's history and natural features.

As this is a circular route, you will end up back at your starting point after completing the hike.
