Located in the Faulhorn region, this challenging 11.9 km circular hiking route offers stunning views and diverse points of interest along the way.
Starting at the Schynige Platte parking area, hikers will first come across the Berghaus Hintisberg Oberläger restaurant, a great spot to grab a bite before beginning the trek. As you make your way along the trail, you'll encounter the Daube viewpoint around the 5 km mark, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Continuing on, you'll reach the Oberberghorn peak, a perfect place to rest and take in the breathtaking scenery. As you head back towards the starting point, you'll pass by various benches and information points, providing additional insight into the area's history and natural wonders.
With an elevation gain of 619 meters, this hike is classified as difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers. Remember to bring plenty of water, check the weather forecast before setting out, and take breaks as needed to enjoy the beauty of the Faulhorn region.
