Welcome to the Hochstraße hiking route!

This picturesque trail offers a 4.032-kilometer round trip through beautiful natural surroundings with an elevation gain of 113 meters, making it an easy route suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting from the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you'll pass by the historic Gasthaus Hofmann at the very start of your hike. As you continue along the trail, you'll come across the St. Josef artwork and a wayside cross, both providing interesting points of cultural and historic significance along the way.

Approximately halfway through the hike, you'll reach a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the view of the surrounding area. Be sure to stop by the Naturpark Frankenhöhe information point to learn more about the region's flora and fauna.

Towards the end of the trail, you'll encounter the Pfarrhaus historic building before making your way back to the starting point.
