This hike takes place in a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 8.719 kilometers and an elevation gain of 473 meters, making it a difficult hike suitable for experienced hikers.
As you begin your trek, you will pass by the "Parcheggio di Borgonuovo" parking area, located right at the starting point of the trail. Approximately 2.05 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a drinking water point, providing a refreshing break along the way.
Further along the trail, at around 2.53 kilometers, you will reach "Rocche du Prou Ballou" and "Prou Ballou," popular climbing spots with impressive rock formations. These locations offer a unique opportunity for climbers to test their skills amidst breathtaking natural surroundings.
Around the halfway point of the trail, at 2.79 kilometers, you will encounter a spring called "Bric Batagin," providing a natural water source for hikers to refill their bottles. Continuing on, at 3.29 kilometers, you will find another spring named "Roccia Malpasso," offering a peaceful spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
As you approach the end of the trail, you will come across several peaks such as "Bric Brigna," "Bricco Grosso," and "Rocca du Fò," each providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Finally, at the endpoint of the hike, located at 4.36 kilometers, is the destination point called "Roccia Malpasso," offering a rewarding and picturesque conclusion to your journey.
