This hiking route near Rocca Gianni offers a challenging trek through stunning natural landscapes. The trail covers a distance of 8.912 kilometers and features an elevation gain of 205 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey for experienced hikers.
The hike begins at the parking area at the trailhead, where you can find information about the area. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Sella del Barnè, a picturesque saddle located 1.78 kilometers from the start. Further along the route, at the 3.57 kilometer mark, you will reach the Bivio Bric Dente, another interesting point of interest.
For those interested in peaks, the Bric del Dentino and Monte Giallo peaks are located at 3.49 and 1.25 kilometers from the start, respectively. Although they are not directly on the trail, they offer stunning views for those willing to venture off the main path.
Additionally, you will encounter the ruins of a historic site 175 meters off the trail at the beginning, providing a glimpse into the area's past. The trail also passes by Rocca Gianni, a peak that you will reach at the 4.14 kilometer mark, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
