This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful Finanzieritrail area, offering stunning views and a rewarding experience. The total distance of the out-and-back trail is 9.55 kilometers with an elevation gain of 556 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 36 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you'll come across the Silvesteralm - Malga San Silvestro restaurant and alpine hut, located just 0.81 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to refuel and enjoy some local cuisine before continuing on. Further along the trail, at the 2.05-kilometer mark, you'll find the Steinberghütte, another alpine hut where you can take a break and maybe even spend the night.

Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter several water points at 4.77, 4.78, and 4.78 kilometers from the start, providing you with opportunities to replenish your water supply. Additionally, there are benches and informative signs along the trail, offering you places to rest and learn more about the area.

As you make your way back, you'll pass by the Bodeneck peak and saddle, giving you a chance to take in the breathtaking views that the trail has to offer. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear for this challenging trek.
