This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding the Wassertretstelle. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 2.775 kilometers and an elevation gain of 41 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Sägereck-Hütte, a shelter located 0.56 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This can be a great place to rest and refuel before continuing on. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Wanderfreunde Pavillion, a shelter located midway through the hike.

Along the way, you will also find the Heiligenreute information point, providing you with insights into the area's history and significance. Be sure to stop by the wayside shrine of Bildstock Zapf-Benz, located 0.82 kilometers from the start, and take a moment to appreciate the historical significance of the site.
