Welcome to the hiking route at De Hooge Hoek! This easy out-and-back trail spans approximately 2.6 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all levels. Before starting your hike, make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast.

As you begin your journey, you'll come across several points of interest along the trail. About 1.1 kilometers in, you'll find a water source located just 83 meters from the trail. This spot is perfect for a quick break to hydrate before continuing on your way. Further along, at the 1.3-kilometer mark, there are more water sources and parking areas if needed.

At the midway point of the trail, around 1.2 kilometers in, you'll find a restaurant called "San Marco" where you can stop for a meal or snack. Additionally, there are cafes and pubs nearby where you can rest and refuel. Make sure to visit the historic memorial and information point located around 0.15 kilometers from the trail.

For a relaxing break, there are benches conveniently placed along the trail, including one at the 0.75-kilometer mark. Whether you're looking for a leisurely stroll or a quick hike, the De Hooge Hoek trail offers a peaceful and scenic outdoor experience for all to enjoy.
