This challenging 6.32-kilometer circular hiking route takes you to the beautiful area around Monte Cavallo. The route has an elevation gain of 557 meters and is estimated to take about 2 hours and 51 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before heading onto the trail. Shortly after, at about 1.46 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the ruins of Antica fornace per la calce, adding a touch of history to your adventure.

About 1.86 kilometers from the beginning, you will find a drinking water point to refill your bottles and stay hydrated on the trail. Further along, at 3.05 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte Cavallo, offering spectacular panoramic views as a rewarding midpoint of your hike.

As you make your way back, approximately 0.26 kilometers from the starting point, you will pass by the Michelangelo restaurant where you can refuel with some delicious sustenance.

Please note that this is a difficult hike due to its length and elevation gain, so make sure to come prepared with adequate water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. Additionally, always check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
