This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking landscape of the Enzianhütte area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain for the avid hiker. With a distance of 12.202 kilometers and an elevation gain of 805 meters, the route is rated as extremely difficult, suitable for experienced hikers looking for a challenge.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you will find Alpe Eschbach, a restaurant where you can grab a meal before embarking on your adventure. Further along the trail, about 2.31 kilometers from the start, you will reach a biergarten called Einödsbach, perfect for a quick break to enjoy some refreshments.
Midway through the hike, at around 6.1 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Enzianhütte, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before continuing your journey. Nearby, Peters-Älpele offers another biergarten experience for hikers to relax and take in the surroundings.
Towards the end of the trail, at approximately 4.56 kilometers from the start, you will discover a stunning waterfall, adding to the natural beauty of the area. As you make your way back, make sure to stop at Berggasthof Einödsbach for a final meal before concluding your hike.
