This hiking route takes you through the scenic Gründeckstraße area, offering stunning views and a challenging trek. The route is an out-and-back type, totaling 8.427 kilometers with an elevation gain of 279 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the route, you will find a Wanderparkplatz (parking area) for your convenience. Further along, at around 0.46 kilometers from the start, there is an information point providing insights about the area.

As you continue on, approximately 2.48 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter another informational spot with details about the surroundings. Just a bit further, at 2.54 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Obergründeck saddle, a natural feature worth exploring.

Around 3.21 kilometers from the start, you can take a detour to Mittergründeck peak, offering panoramic views of the landscape. As you make your way back, make sure to rest at one of the benches conveniently located at 1.71 kilometers from the start.
