Welcome to the Naturlehrpfad hiking route! This trail offers a scenic and educational hike through the beautiful surroundings of the area.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. Along the trail, there are benches where you can take a rest and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Fischteichen (fish ponds) where you can learn about the different fish species that inhabit the area. There are also informational signs detailing the history of the fish ponds in the Filmersbachtal.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by Amphibiengewässer (amphibian ponds) and learn about the fascinating world of amphibians. Further along, you will come across information about bats, dragonflies, and the food chain in the pond ecosystem.

At the end of the hike, you can visit the Haus am Teich restaurant to relax and enjoy a meal after your outdoor adventure.

This out-and-back trail covers a distance of 2.743 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. It is recommended to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike.
