This hiking route will take you to the Búnquer del Carmel area in Barcelona. The starting point is at a parking area near Turó de la Rovira.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by the Bateria antiaèria republicana del Turó de la Rovira, a historic fort that played a significant role during the Spanish Civil War. Further along the trail, you will come across the Runes de cases autoconstruïdes dels anys 50, an archaeological site showcasing self-built homes from the 1950s.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the Búnquer del Carmel, a viewpoint with limited wheelchair access that offers stunning views of Barcelona. Along the way, you will also find drinking water stations and information points to enhance your experience.
This out-and-back route is approximately 553.0 kilometers long and has a relatively flat elevation gain. The difficulty of the hike is moderate due to the length of the trail.
