This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking Largintia area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 14.051 kilometers and an elevation gain of 760 meters, making it extremely difficult.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail, allowing for easy access. As you continue along the path, you will encounter various points of interest. About 5.09 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area. Further along, at around 3.97 kilometers in, another information point awaits, providing insightful details about the surroundings.
During your trek, you will also have the opportunity to marvel at natural landmarks such as the Peñablanca/Kakueta peak, located approximately 6.14 kilometers from the start, and the Largintia peak around 7.03 kilometers in. These points offer panoramic views and a sense of achievement as you conquer the rugged terrain.
Along the trail, you will find amenities to enhance your hiking experience, including a drinking water facility at 0.28 kilometers, a restaurant named Sidrería Azpiroz at 0.2 kilometers, and a pub called Bar Txiki at 0.16 kilometers from the beginning. As you approach the endpoint of the trail, the Dolmen Largintia archaeological site at 6.56 kilometers offers a glimpse into the area's history and cultural significance. Finally, at the turnaround point, you can enjoy a picnic at the designated picnic site located right on the trail.
