Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Gemellaro! This moderate 6.4 km out-and-back trail offers stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area before making your way to Rifugio Monte Gemmellaro, a wilderness hut located 2.46 km from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Continuing on, you will reach the peak of Monte Gemellaro at 3.2 km from the start. From here, you can admire panoramic views of the area. As you make your way back, you will come across informative points such as Conetti Esplosivi Eruzione 1886 and Monte Albano.

Further along the trail, you will find Grotta Monte Gemellaro 1 and Grotta Monte Gemellaro 2, cave entrances that add an interesting element to the hike. Finally, make sure to stop at Bocche effusive superiori Monte Gemmellaro and Stop 4 for additional information about the area.
