This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and various points of interest to explore along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 6.338 kilometers and an elevation gain of 611 meters, making it a difficult hike that is suitable for more experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area just 0.09 kilometers from the trailhead. About 1.19 kilometers into the hike, you will find a refreshing natural spring called Springwater, perfect for refilling your water supply. Further along the trail at 1.69 kilometers, you will encounter an archaeological site known as Era de Berbique, offering a glimpse into the area's historical significance.
Midway through the hike at 3.17 kilometers, you will reach a viewpoint called Vuelta del Palomar, where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, you may come across Montaña Bibique, a peak located 1.79 kilometers from the trail, offering a challenging side adventure for those looking to add some extra elevation gain to their hike.
Towards the end of the trail, at 2.96 kilometers, you will find another viewpoint called Buena vista, providing a different perspective of the scenery. Finally, at 3.11 kilometers, you will reach another viewpoint named Ruta del Cielo, offering a last breathtaking view before you make your way back.
