This hiking route takes you to Cerro de la Tortuga in the beautiful area of Autovía de Circunvalación de Málaga in Málaga. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 2.444 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start the hike, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area at 0.0 kilometers from the starting point, followed by a water source at 0.21 kilometers, perfect for refilling your water bottle. Further along the trail, at 0.35 kilometers, there is another parking area and a restaurant named Palodú nearby for a quick snack.
Midway through the hike, at 0.59 kilometers, you will reach the archaeological site of Cerro de la Tortuga, where you can explore the ancient ruins. Continuing on, at 0.96 kilometers, you will come across more ruins and a memorial at 0.57 kilometers.
As you reach the end of the trail at 1.22 kilometers, you will encounter two peaks and a saddle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
