This extremely difficult 16.976-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the breathtaking landscape of Pico Canário. The trail offers a challenging elevation gain of 1444 meters and is estimated to take approximately 7 hours and 32 minutes to complete.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area located right at the trailhead. Make sure to park your vehicle securely before setting off. About 6.65 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the majestic Pico Milhafre, also known as Pico do Milhafre, a prominent peak in the area. Take a moment to admire the stunning panoramic views from this vantage point.

Continuing on the trail, at approximately 8.41 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another peak known as Pico Canário. This is a great spot to rest and refuel while taking in the remarkable scenery that surrounds you.

Around 1.01 kilometers into the hike, you will find an informational point providing insights about the area and its unique features. Additionally, at 4.16 kilometers from the start, there is a drinking water source available for hikers to stay hydrated along the challenging route.
