This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and historical landmarks. The trail starts at a parking area and quickly leads you to the first point of interest, the Zigeunerfels rock, which offers incredible views of the surroundings. As you continue along the route, you will come across benches and memorials, including the Denkmal C. Mehlis and Denkmal Georg von Neumayer.

The hike is relatively easy, with a total distance of 2.364 kilometers and an elevation gain of 139 meters. Along the way, you will also find informational points such as the Wolfsburgblick and Die Axt im Walde, which provide insights into the natural features and history of the area.

The destination of this out-and-back route is the Blick zur Wolfsburg viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Wolfsberg and the Ruine Wolfsburg.
