This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Tümpel. The 5.858-kilometer long trail offers a moderate difficulty level with an elevation gain of 165 meters, making it suitable for hikers with some experience.

As you start your journey, you will pass by several parking areas along the trail, allowing for convenient access to the starting point. Approximately 0.29 kilometers from the beginning, you will encounter a parking area. Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.72 kilometers from the start, you will find the "Wilder Jäger" restaurant, where you can take a break and refuel.

Around the 2.91-kilometer mark, you will come across the tranquil Tümpel, a natural water feature perfect for a peaceful moment of reflection. Nearby, you will also find another water source within close proximity. Additionally, at 0.82 kilometers from the start, off the trail, you can explore the Teufelskirnstein rock formation and the Teufelshöhle cave entrance.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Marterl wayside shrine at 0.02 kilometers from the start and the Jungfrauberg peak at 1.39 kilometers from the beginning.
