This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Via Francesco Tovaglieri in Roma. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of approximately 3.3 kilometers and no significant elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your hike, you will pass by Largo Appio Chieregatti parking lot, which is located just 0.01 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Around 1.13 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across Terzo Tempo, a bar where you can take a break and refresh yourself.
About midway through the hike, approximately 1.48 kilometers from the start, you'll find a drinking water station to refill your water bottle. Further along, at 1.55 kilometers, there is an aqueduct, a historic site worth checking out.
As you continue on the trail, you will find more drinking water stations at 1.54 kilometers and 1.15 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, there are several benches along the trail, with some located closer to the trail at 0.27 kilometers and others a bit further away.
Before embarking on this hike, remember to bring an ample water supply, as there are only a few drinking water stations along the way. It's also advisable to check the weather forecast beforehand and wear appropriate footwear for the trail.
