Located in a picturesque area, the Peaks Trail offers a challenging 9.15-kilometer circular route with a total elevation gain of 313 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. The trail will take approximately 2 hours and 54 minutes to complete, so be prepared for a long trek.
Starting at the Peaks Trailhead, hikers will follow a well-marked path through scenic landscapes and dense forests. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. Approximately 1.3 kilometers from the start, you will find a beautiful water feature that is easily accessible from the trail.
As you continue your journey, at around 2.05 kilometers in, you will come across another water feature that is located right by the trail, offering a serene spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, at approximately 4.1 kilometers, there is another water point nearby.
Midway through the hike, at 4.1 kilometers, you will find yet another water feature that is easily accessible from the path. As you approach the end of the trail, a stunning lake known as Rainbow Lake awaits you, situated 1.06 kilometers away from the trail. This makes for a perfect spot to take a break and capture some breathtaking views.
