Located in the beautiful area of Montée de la Charose, this hiking route is a 7.39-kilometer circular trail with an elevation gain of 181 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by a convenient parking area at the trailhead. Approximately 2.13 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a water source where you can refill your supplies. Further along the trail, at around 3.38 kilometers, you will reach the peak known as Puy de la Gagère, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 2.08 kilometers, keep an eye out for an information point called Pot de la Croix, providing insights into the area's history and geography. Just a short distance from the trail, at 0.15 kilometers, you will find the entrance to a cave known as Scialet Abel, offering a unique underground exploration opportunity.
As you continue your journey, at approximately 3.38 kilometers, there is a viewpoint called Borne «33» where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic vistas. Finally, at 1.46 kilometers from the start, you will come across another cave entrance called Scialet des Deux Gardes, adding to the adventure of the hike.
