Welcome to the Montée de la Charose hiking route! This circular trail covers a distance of 7.39 kilometers with an elevation gain of 181 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before heading out.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey through the beautiful natural surroundings. Around 2.13 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles.

Continuing on, at 3.38 kilometers, you will reach the peak known as Puy de la Gagère, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. A viewpoint is also located nearby at the same distance, providing another opportunity to take in the scenery.

As you make your way back, you will encounter the Pot de la Croix information point at 2.08 kilometers. This is a great spot to learn more about the area and its history. Additionally, boundary stone called Borne «33» is located at 2.01 kilometers, adding a touch of historic charm to your hike.

For the more adventurous hikers, cave entrances such as Scialet Abel and Scialet des Deux Gardes can be found along the trail at 1.21 kilometers and 1.46 kilometers respectively. These caves offer a unique experience for those who wish to explore further.
