This challenging hiking route will take you along the spectacular Cresta della Bandiera in a beautiful alpine setting. The total distance of the hike is 8.254 kilometers with an elevation gain of 674 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey.
Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will begin your ascent towards the first point of interest, the Rifugio Cesare Battisti alpine hut. This cozy hut is located just 0.02 kilometers from the start, making it a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding views.
Continuing on, you will pass by the Monte Zevola peak, which is 4.13 kilometers from the start. This stunning peak offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making it a perfect photo opportunity.
