This challenging hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Croce Monte Rubbio. The trail covers a distance of 7.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 738 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is recommended to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as to check the weather forecast before heading out.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Approximately 2.75 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a saddle where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. Continuing on, at around 3.6 kilometers, you will find yourself near the peak of Monte Rubbio, offering stunning views of the area.

At the 3.7-kilometer mark, there is a viewpoint called Croce Monte Rubbio, providing a perfect spot to take in the panoramic vistas. Additionally, along the way, you will pass by Osteria la Canonica, a restaurant where you can refuel before making your way back.

Additionally, at 3.33 kilometers, there is another viewpoint known as Rocia dal diau, offering another opportunity to appreciate the natural surroundings.
