This hiking route will take you to Monte Soreli, offering stunning views and a challenging adventure. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 7.789 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1052 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 25 minutes to complete.

Starting at Piazzale Stazione Carnia, you will begin your journey towards Monte Soreli. Along the way, you will pass by the ruins of Osservatorio militare di Monte Soreli, a historic military observatory that is located approximately 3.16 kilometers from the start of the trail.

As you continue your ascent, you will come across Bar alla Lotta and Bar Posta, two bars where you can replenish your energy and enjoy a quick break. These bars are situated at around 0.02 and 0.16 kilometers from the trail, respectively.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Monte Soreli, a natural peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. This peak is approximately 3.89 kilometers from the starting point.

On your way back, don't forget to stop by the fountain located 0.02 kilometers from the trail, where you can refill your water bottle and take a refreshing break. Additionally, make sure to visit the viewpoint at around 3.16 kilometers from the start, where you can admire the stunning scenery before completing your hike.
