This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning peak of Piz Ault. The trail spans a distance of 14.553 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1142 meters, so be prepared for a challenging trek.

You will start your hike at the parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as the journey ahead is quite demanding. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across a bench and an information point about 0.32 kilometers from the start, where you can take a short break and learn more about the area.

Continuing on, at around 0.32 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source to refill your bottles. This will be especially crucial as you approach the higher elevations. Midway through the hike at 5.6 kilometers from the start, you will reach Fuorcla dalla Buora, a scenic saddle point offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

As you push onwards, at 7.28 kilometers from the start, you will finally reach the majestic peak of Piz Ault. Take your time to soak in the panoramic vistas before retracing your steps back along the same trail.
